Album Fly by Dante Thomas Review
Discovered by the Fugees' Pras and produced by Lauryn Hill collaborator Vada Nobles, the debut album from this blue-eyed soul singer combines enough R&B sass and street beats to merit the pedigree. But Thomas' smooth voice can't compensate for or camouflage the banality of the material. Only "Miss California", Thomas' bid for teen credibility, delivers any sort of jolt, and it's a minor one at that.Review by allmusic.com
